Hand carved wood door panel with lacquered finish would have been in a door or window. Probably dates back to pre 1900.
The carvings typically depict scenes from a well known Chinese historical event such as those recorded in the story of The Three Kingdoms.
The lacquer work is in excellent codition reflecting the quality of the lacquer.
